Our Story
Began with a conversation.
The Cadence began the way many meaningful things do…with a conversation. Two people who sat down at a café as strangers and left as friends carrying a shared vision for what might be possible.
What was supposed to be a quick meeting stretched into hours of dreaming, questioning, imagining, and exploring. We talked about community. We talked about leadership. We talked about systems, belonging, and what it means to create change that actually lasts. Most of all, we talked about what was missing.
We imagined a different kind of consulting practice. One that honored both strategy and humanity. A practice that could help organizations do important work without losing sight of the people doing it. A practice rooted in curiosity, relationship, and the belief that meaningful change happens when people feel seen, supported, and connected to something larger than themselves. We wanted to create more than a business. We wanted to build a space for possibility.
A space where ideas could be tested, where leaders could grow, where communities could gather, and where partnership meant more than a contract. A space where we could contribute to the world not only through the services we offered, but through the relationships we cultivated and the communities we helped strengthen along the way.
What emerged from that conversation was more than an idea.
It was a commitment.
A commitment to using our business as a tool for transformation. A commitment to building something rooted in relationships, guided by purpose, and accountable to the communities we serve. A commitment to leading with both love and accountability and to holding space for possibility.
We believed that organizations, leaders, and communities already carry the wisdom, creativity, and resilience needed to shape a better future. Our role was never to provide all the answers. Instead, it was to create the conditions where people could reconnect with their own strengths, imagine what is possible, and move toward it together.
That commitment became The Cadence of Social Impact.
And it continues to guide everything we do today.
Since 2024, what began as a shared dream between two people has grown into something much larger than ourselves. Along the way, strategic partners, facilitators, collaborators, and clients have joined us on this journey, each bringing their own gifts, experiences, and perspectives to the work. Together, we have built more than a consulting practice. We have cultivated a growing community of practice rooted in curiosity, trust, learning, and collective impact.
Today,The Cadence is not simply a consulting practice. The Cadence serves as a gathering place for people who believe that another way is possible. A place where organizations can strengthen their capacity, where leaders can deepen their practice, where communities can build power, and where bold ideas can take root and flourish.
Because at the end of the day, we believe transformation happens through people. It happens through relationships. It happens when individuals and communities are given the space to dream, the support to grow, and the invitation to become part of something larger than themselves.
